Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Vizdomtech. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services including CCTV systems, alarm systems, monitoring, installations, and related security solutions. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Vizdomtech Pvt LTD. 
“Client”, “you”, “your” refers to any person or business purchasing, installing, or using our services. 
“Services” include installations, monitoring, maintenance, consultations, product sales, and all related offerings. 
“Equipment” refers to CCTV systems, alarm systems, sensors, cameras, NVRs, DVRs, routers, cabling, and accessories provided by us. 

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, requesting a quote, completing a purchase, or scheduling installation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.  If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

Service Appointments & Scheduling

• Installation and service dates depend on technician availability. 
• Clients must ensure access to the property and notify us in advance of any restrictions. 
• Missed appointments may result in additional service charges. 

Equipment Ownership & Warranty

Ownership

• For Up-Front Purchase Packages, equipment becomes the customer’s property after full payment. 
• For Monthly or Pay-As-You-Go Packages, equipment may remain company property unless otherwise stated. 

Warranty

• All supplied equipment includes a manufacturer’s warranty (1–3 years depending on brand). 
• Warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorized modifications, physical damage, power surges, or weather-related damage. 
• Service calls for non-warranty issues may incur charges. 

Installation Terms

The client must approve camera placement, wiring paths, and device locations. 

• Any additional work requested on-site (extra wiring, conduits, additions) may incur extra charges. 
• The company is not responsible for structural damage caused by pre-existing issues (old siding, brittle walls, unsafe roofing, etc.). 
• Outdoor installations are subject to weather conditions for safety reasons.

Monitoring Services (If Applicable)

• Monitoring services may be provided directly by us or through authorized third-party monitoring partners. 
• False alarms caused by user error, unsecured pets, or environmental factors are the responsibility of the client. 
• Cancellation of monitoring requires written notice and may be subject to contract terms. 

Payments & Fees 

• All invoices must be paid on or before the due date. 
• Late payments may result in service suspension or additional fees. 
• Installation fees are non-refundable. 
• For monthly service plans, recurring charges will continue until cancelled in writing. 

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made before installation are eligible for a refund (excluding processing fees). 
• Once installed, refunds follow the Return & Refund Policy. 
• Customized installations or special-order equipment are non-refundable. 

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to: 

• Provide accurate information regarding the property and service needs 
• Maintain stable internet/Wi-Fi for remote monitoring 
• Keep equipment powered and protected

• Inform us of any malfunction immediately 
• Avoid modifying or relocating installed equipment without authorization

Surveillance & Privacy

• CCTV footage belongs to the client, unless otherwise specified under a monitoring plan. 
• We do not access your footage except for installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance and only with your permission. 
• Clients are responsible for complying with local privacy rules (e.g., notifying tenants in rental properties). 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: 
 

• We are not liable for loss of property, theft, damage, or incidents that occur even with our equipment installed. 
• No security system can guarantee 100% protection. 
• We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by power outages, Wi-Fi/internet issues, ISP failures, or third-party equipment. 
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question. 

Third-Party Services

Some features may rely on third-party platforms (monitoring centers, apps, cloud storage, equipment brands). We are not responsible for outages, errors, or failures caused by these external providers.

Website Use Terms

• You may not copy, duplicate, or distribute content from our website without written permission. 
• Any misuse of website content, scripts, images, logos, or branding is prohibited. 
• Attempts to hack, disable, or disrupt our website or systems are strictly forbidden. 

Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised date. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of changes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Alberta courts.
